Slacker!

Ok, well I don't mean to be a slacker..just so very doggon busy these days! I have started a part-time-work-at-home job and between that, the family and gettin' ready for Jack's arrival, blogging gets put on the WAY BACK burner! So, here is a not-so-quick update of what we've been up to!

GETTIN' READY FOR JACK!
Jackers gets the privledge of sharing a room with his sweet sisters! So, we have been working on creating his own little corner of the world. We needed to turn the princess room into a prince/princess room.

BEFORE

Yes, Rich painted all of the walls a built in drawers, closets...all of it. I think he's painted this room now 3 or 4 times!

AFTER

SHOWERS

I am feeling quite clean these days! My wonderful family threw Jack and me the best shower! We were showered with so many fun, exciting and way cute gifts. I can't thank everyone enough for their generosity and time they put into this event.

Jen Hallam, Me, Kel Casperson and Elise Lechtenberg. Hottie-Totties eh'?
BEAUTIFUL Diaper Cake made by my ever-so-talented sis, Courtney. I think she should start a business with these things! Oh the GLORIUS food! No shower is complete without food. We had yummy hoagie sandwiches, assorted salads, drinks and my favorite...Chocolate Dipped Strawberries AND Chocolate Dipped OREOS made by my ever-so-talented sis-inlaw, Kelli Dalley. The were so darn good....I wish I had some right now!

Then, the Young Women of our ward showered Jack and me too!

They brought cute gifts and even tied a quilt!! The quilt turned out sooooo adorable! Thanks girls!

MMMMMMMMMMMMMM! The food, of course was sooo yummy!

TRIP TO UTAH
Rich had a pre-bid in Utah and invited the kids and me to come with him! We hung out with my sis, Landon and my mom! It was a short trip but worth it. This is my sis and me...she is 2 weeks behind me in due dates! YAY! Yes, it was a warm day...can you tell in my ever so bloated face? YIKES! (33 weeks pregnant)

Hay Ride at Wheeler Farm.

Kiddie Rides at Liberty Park

FATHER'S DAY

The kids and I gave Rich a massage and gentleman's facial from Essence of You in Idaho Falls. He deserves all the pampering he can get! Rich truly is the best father. His kids and wife absolutely ADORE him!

CAMPING

Our family LOVES the great outdoors. Pregnant or not, you will find us camping nearly every weekend. Here we are camping up McDevitt Crk with Rich's family. No camping trip with them is complete without some squirrel hunting! SOOOOO FUN!

(32 Weeks)

CLOGGING NATIONALS!

Our clogging team got to compete in the Clogging Nationals in May. We danced 3 songs and did very well!
Absolutely Everybody dance: received 1st place and GRAND CHAMPION!! with 29.9 points!! A perfect 10 from one judge and 9.95 from both the other 2 judges!! AMAZING!!

Staying Alive dance: received 1st place with 29.87 points! (another perfect 10 from one judge!)

Cotton Eyed Joe dance: received 1st place with 29.64 points! We scored 1st against 2 other groups in our category--WA-HOOO!!

Absolutely Everybody scored one of the highest scores in all the Novice level (they award 10 trophies per level at Nationals)

I had sooooooo much fun doing this and can't WAIT to start clogging again in the fall. It is such a hoot and GREAT exercise!

MORE CAMPING

This is at one of our favorite places...Kelly Island. So peaceful and beautiful with some pretty good fishing too!

(36 Weeks)

CHILDBIRTH ED CLASS

We took 4 classes through June. It was very informative...we'll see how much of the info we actually use! Although parts of the class freaked me out quite a bit, I am glad we went.

Rich got to wear the Empathy Belly. Pregnancy looks great on him! What a good sport.

And this is me at 37 weeks and about ready to POP! I feel so darn big and am READY for little Jackers to get here. We are all very excited and are anxiously waiting...trying to be patient.
Thanks for taking the time to view our update! Hopefully the next update will include the new little one!
Loves to all!
