In my opinion, you can get away with buying a cheap curling iron and not see much of a difference. But when it comes to buying a flat iron, it's completely worth the investment to get a quality one. I bought several cheapies that never worked the way I wanted them to before I finally broke down and bought a nice one. Let me tell you, there is no comparison!
