What is a Babymoon you ask? Let me explain. First came the hitching, then the honeymoon, then that little pink line on the pregnancy test! The final months Rich and I have alone before our bundle of joy arrives are special, and we wanted to use it to take one last, big romantic trip together – a “baby moon” -- before baby makes SIX! So, we decided to spend it in Cancun!
Many people have asked me how our trip was. The only word that best describes it is PERFECT. It truly was. From the romance to the warm sunny days to the utter relaxation on the beach, a couple couldn't ask for anything else!
We stayed at the Grand Oasis Cancun. It was an All Inclusive Resort, which I highly recommend. We ate and drank yummy "virgin" Pina Coladas anytime we wanted!
Although we went as a couple, we met up with my sis and her hubby as well as their friends.

On our way!!

Man, he is one Hunk-a-chunk-o'-burnin'-love! The hotel grounds are nice too!

One of MANY Pina Coladas!

Romance on the beach at night!

Xcaret! Xcaret is a Water Amusement park...no, you will find no waterslides here but you can see wildlife, snorkel, float an underground river, eat the best American burger ever, etc...Very cool!

This is the lagoon where we snorkeled.

Watching the sunrise from our room. What a glorious sight to wake up to!

Playin' in the waves! This was one of mine and Richs' fave things to do!

Travis (brother-in-law) and Rich in the waves

Buckets of rain drenched us in Chichen Itza

Courtney (my sis) and hubby Travis were drenched as well.

Chichen Itza

We were so amazed at these beautiful ruins! We were suprised how good of shape they were still in.

View from our room. Not too bad, eh?
I am so grateful to have been able to go on this trip with my sweetie. We had the best time together. Rich is so dang fun to travel with! Love you!!

That looks Awesome! Very romantic!
How COOL!
Looks like y'all had an amazing time!
Did like snorkeling? It's BY FAR my favorite!!
However, it took some getting used to breathing with my face in the water! We had to practice in the pool before I felt comfortable in the ocean!
Lees,
I felt the EXACT same way as you! It took quite a while to get used to the breathing underwater. I was breathing soooo hard that I thought I was going to pass out. When I finally relaxed, I really enjoyed it! F-U-N!
Looks like a BLAST! Now, I wanna go.
You look so happy and relaxed and joyful. What a smart way to spend some time before baby arrives. I always knew you were smarter than me!
Looks absolutely amazing! I'm so glad you guys went and had so much fun!!! So, back to babies...are you finding out what you're having?!?! If my math is right, it should be about time? Keep me posted! :) Love ya!
Oh yes! We will be finding out next Wednesday, actually! CAN'T WAIT!!
