Craters of the Moon

In keeping my promise of documenting some of my favorite summer memories, here is another. The kids and I went to Craters of the Moon right before school started. It was a very hot and windy day but we didn't seem to mind. We were having too much fun! Our favorite part of the trip was exploring the caves! Our favorite cave was called the Boy Scout cave. You actually had to crawl around on your behind to get into the cave! The kids were a little scared at first, but once they say Mumzy (me) get into it, it was ok. Once you got inside of the cave, it was so cold...but very refreshing! We brought along our handy dandy head lights which helped us see in the pitch black. I was very proud of the kids for being such good sports and letting me take them through the deep dark caves.
